Cooperative Advertising: Ads are printed in the Northwest Observer, the Oak Ridge Horse Show program and the Summerfield Founders’ Day program recognizing the Northwest Triad Merchants and its members. Membership also allows for special advertising opportunities.
Networking: What do monthly membership meetings, business after hours, the annual picnic, golf tournament and the Awards Banquet have in common? Networking opportunities with members and prospective members. Be sure to invite a guest and bring plenty of business cards. NWTM Membership Certificate and Directory: Membership certificates are provided to all members to proudly display at your place of business. The NWTM directory is updated as new members join and emailed to all members. Doing business with a member is easy when you keep your membership directory in hand. Community Involvement: Increase your companys visibility by participating in community events which include: Summerfield Founders’ Day Celebration, Oak Ridge Fall Festival and Angel Tree at Countryside Village in Stokesdale. Business Spotlight: Create awareness for your company and generate new business prospects by sponsoring a monthly general membership meeting. Sponsorship allows for a 10 minute presentation to a captive audience. Sponsors are also recognized on the agenda and the website. Ribbon Cuttings: Merchant members join with town dignitaries to welcome new members by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony. Announcements are published in local newspapers to spotlight the occasion. Just another way, to keep your business up close and personal with the members and the community. Volunteer Opportunities: Get involved with the NWTM by volunteering. There are several committees (Golf, Angel Tree, Membership, Welcome/Ribbon Cutting, Scholarship and Awards Banquet.) to choose from along with community events. Membership Gifts: Member referrals and recruitments are the livelihood of our group. They are beneficial to both individual members and the NWTM. A FREE MEMBERSHIP is given to the member that recruits the most members for the year. The annual membership drive, which is held from July to October, also offers great prizes. |
